Man shot in Fayetteville apartment complex parking lot

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police said one man was taken to the hospital after being shot in a parking lot at an apartment complex Sunday.

It happened around 9 p.m. in the 200 block of Tiffany Court in the Rosehill Gardens apartments.

Police said the man was shot in the parking lot then driven away from the scene to the intersection of Gillespie Street and Owen Drive.

The victim was then taken to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and is listed in fair condition.

Authorities are still investigating.
