Man wanted in connection with Durham murder

Officers were dispatched at 8:46 p.m. Friday, November 23 to investigate a report of a male lying in the street near the intersection of Southgate and Driver streets.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male who had been shot. The male, Derrick Burch, 44, of Spring Creek Drive, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said Burch and Brady were acquaintances and had been involved in an ongoing dispute.

Brady, whose last known address was on Hardee Street, is also wanted for obtaining property by false pretense in another case.
