The man was hit just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday, at the intersection of Moore and McIver Street.
Emergency dispatch says the victim needed to be life-flighted to the hospital.
It is unclear how the accident occurred at this time.
Authorities say there were 187 passengers on board the Amtrak train headed from New York to Miami. No one on board the train was injured in the accident."
