Charles Junius Burgess, 54, of Littleton is charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.
Burgess allegedly broke into a home on Nov. 11 and stole a bologna sandwich and a soda. When questioned about the incident, Burgess told a detective he had worked all day and was hungry.
He was also arrested for three outstanding orders for arrest. His court date is scheduled for Feb. 20. and is in the Halifax County Jail under a $37,500 secured bound.
