Police were called to the La Campana store in the 1700-block of N. Arendell Avenue around 9 p.m. When they arrived they found the store clerk had been shot three times after an apparent robbery attempt.
Police say the suspects entered the store around closing time with handguns, wearing dark clothes and clear colored masks over their faces. Police say a struggle between one of the suspects and the clerk began and the clerk was shot three times. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Surveillance video captured the pictures of the suspects and the struggle. Police say they may have left the scene in a dark colored pick-up truck.
