Man charged with sex crime against minor

FAYETTEVILLE Keith Allen Hyatt, 20, allegedly fondled his 13-year old victim and forced her to engage in inappropriate behavior. Investigators say Hyatt was driving the girl to a birthday party on December 2, 2007 when the attack occurred. Hyatt was arrested today and charged with statuary sex offense, taking indecent liberties with a child and crimes against nature. He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond. Hyatt is scheduled to make a first court appearance on February 7.
