Flames broke out at a North Raleigh home early Saturday morning, killing one woman and critically injuring one man.

Neighbors say they didn't hear anything unusual but awoke to a frightening scene.

Many were asleep when the fire tore though the home on 704 Princeton St.

A disabled woman and her husband were trapped in the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene and he was badly burned.

Authorities have not determined a cause of the fire and it is still under investigation.

The man remains in critical condition at UNC Hospitals.
