Deputies were called to a home on Valley View Drive in Sanford around 12 p.m. Saturday. They found Willie Cornell Griffin, 49, and his estranged wife, Rosalind Yolands Griffin, 39, deceased.
A family member reported Willie Griffin contacted him this morning and said he was going to kill his estanged wife and himself.
When the family member arrived at the Valley View Dr. residence, bot of the Griffins were deceased.
The bodies were transported to Central Carolina Hospital and will be transported UNC-Chapel Hill Sunday morning for an autopsy.
The incident is being investigated as a murder suicide.
