Burlington Police say they responded to a domestic assault around 8 p.m. Friday.
Officers say when they arrived on the scene, they discovered that 39-year-old Guy Eugene Bridges had assaulted his spouse and two children and then fled the scene with his infant child prior to police arrival.
Bridges' wife and the two children were not injured. After an investigation, Bridges and his infant were located.
He was arrested and the infant was unharmed. Bridges is charged with assault on a female, two counts of simple assault and misdemeanor child abuse and neglect.
He is being held in the Alamance County Jail without bond.
