Investigators say Reginald Franklin, Jr., 18, brought a semi-automatic handgun with additional ammunition to Jack Britt High School Wednesday afternoon after a fight broke out on the campus. Deputies found the gun in the trunk of a vehicle that Franklin was a passenger in.
Franklin remains in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $2000 secured bond. He is expected to appear in court Thursday morning.
