Man accused of stealing Krispy Kreme truck

RALEIGH

The truck was located at the /*Krispy Kreme*/ store on Person Ave., just north of downtown /*Raleigh*/.

According to an arrest warrant, 38-year-old Dwight Edward Carter of Raleigh, broke into the store on Wednesday and stole several sets of keys.

One of the keys fit a 2002 Chevy box truck valued at $25,000. Carter allegedly stole that truck.

The manager of Krispy Kreme told Eyewitness News that stolen truck is marked "Krispy Kreme Doughnuts."

The truck was located and the suspect has a lengthy arrest record dating back to 1986.
