Officers were dispatched to a possible gunshot wound call. When they arrived they, found a male lying in the parking lot at #9 Welch Place.
The male victim, who name is not being released at this time, was shot in the head.
He was transported to /*Duke Medical Center*/ where he died from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no motive or suspect description at this time.
