The /*Fayetteville Police Department*/ says 22-year-old /*Sergio Sanchez*/ died early Saturday morning.
He was walking to his car on April 12 when he approached another robbery in progress at Blue and Washington streets in Fayetteville.
The suspects robbed and shot the soldier.
The case is under investigation, and there is no information available regarding the suspects.
