Troubleshooter: Credit help refund

SANFORD

She paid $997.00 after getting a call from them about their services. She tells Troubleshooter Diane Wilson, "Their promise and pitch was they would automatically be able to get $2,400 off your bill and like I said mine was just about $3,000.

But soon after signing up, Una had second thoughts and wanted to cancel. She adds, "In the package there is a procedure to follow to cancel and I followed that to a tee." Within 30 days, Una sent back the paperwork and a cancellation letter to Financial Solutions. She even sent it certified mail. She says she got a call from Financial Solutions.

Una says, "She said we need to discuss this and see if you would like to change your mind, and I said no I didn't change my mind, I would like to cancel." But then Una says she couldn't believe what she heard. She says, "She said we're not going to refund your money. I said what reason can you deny me my refund you haven't done a service and she said that's what we want to do and I said well I don't want your services."

So Una turned to Troubleshooter Diane Wilson. One call to Financial Solutions and Una got her refund within 48 hours. She tells Troubleshooter Diane Wilson, "Yes you did help and I'm going to send everybody to you."

When Troubleshooter Diane Wilson talked to Financial Solutions, at first a rep said Una didn't submit her paperwork within 30 days, but once she gave them the certified mail confirmation, she said Una would get her refund immediately.
