A suspect was seen by Benson police trying to steal diesel fuel at a gas station. The suspect, identified as Moses King, was trying to steal the gas from the ground bays at the station.
King was driving a refrigerated cucumber box truck and fled from police. He fled through Wayne and Duplin County. At some point the back tires locked up and the trailer came detached from the rig.
The diesel tank under the refrigerated box struck the road and caught fire. He was stopped when police put down tire strips further down the road and was apprehended after being tasered.
