Body found in Jordan Lake

PITTSBORO, NC Chatham County Sheriff's investigators say the body was found by a fisherman around 10 a.m. Friday in Roberson Creek off Jordan Lake.

When Chopper 11 arrived at the scene, the body could be seen in the middle of a creek not far from the Hanks Chapel Road bridge over the lake.

The man has not been identified. Authorities are investigating this as a suspicious death.
