Weekend commencement schedule

Thousands of tassles will turn this weekend as college seniors graduate into the real world.

Saturday May 10th

North Carolina State University will confer more than 4,000 degrees on graduating students during its spring commencement exercises, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 10, in the RBC Center in Raleigh. Media coverage is welcomed.

Fayetteville State University nearly 500 graduates will receive bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees during the 141st Spring Commencement of Fayetteville State University (FSU). The event is scheduled for May 10 at 9 a.m. in the Crown Coliseum.

Saint Augustine's College will hold its 141st commencement ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, on the campus quadrangle. This is the first time in 30 years that graduation will be held on campus.

Sunday May 11th

Duke's 2008 Commencement exercises will take place in Wallace Wade Stadium on Sunday, May 11.

UNC-Chapel Hill's commencement will take place Sunday May 11th. Chancellor James Moeser will preside at the ceremony, his last as chancellor. The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Kenan Memorial Stadium. Norman will be the featured speaker.

Meredith College Commencement Scheduled for May 11 at 10 a.m.
