Durham Police investigate shooting

Officers responded to a shooting call on Otis Street shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday.

They say that is where they found a woman outside in a driveway area, shot in the left calf.

She was transported to Duke Hospital with a non life- threatening injury. The woman's name is not being released at this time.

Authorities believe the woman was an innocent bystander and was shot during an altercation involving somebody in one vehicle shooting at a person or people another vehicle in the area.

The woman told people she was outside washing her car when the shooting occurred.

Officers say they do not have any motive or suspect descriptions.
