Duke football players cited for alcohol possessions

DURHAM Leon Wright and Thad Lewis, both 20, were ticketed with underage possession of alcohol Wednesday in the 1700-block of Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. The charge is a misdemeanor.

According to goduke.com, Wright is from St. Petersburg, Fl and plays the cornerback position for the Blue Devils.

Thad Lewis, from Opa-Locka, FL, is a quarterback with the Duke Blue Devils.

Officials with the Duke Athletic Department tells Eyewitness News disciplinary action will be handled by the coach, if necessary.
