North Carolina Central University continues to experience power outages in several buildings on campus.

Classes had to be cancelled in the following buildings Tuesday:

Criminal Justice
Michaux School of Education
Miller-Morgan (Nursing/Health Care)
Walker Complex

Classes did continue at the Turner School of Law. However, the bar course had to be held in the Farrison-Newton Communications Building.

Crews from Duke Energy, N. C. State and N.C. Central are collaborating to diagnose and repair the problem.

NCCU residential students enrolled in summer school, as well as those participating in other academic programs have been moved to residence halls not affected by the power outage.

All university operations are expected to resume Wednesday.
