A Benson police officer says he saw Matthew Carlton sitting on his front steps in the nude.
Carlton reportedly told police he did understand why there was a problem with sitting outsidewith no clothes on.
Carlton is charged with indecent exposure. Neighbors and police saw him lounging across the street from the Benson Church of God.
The arresting officer said he noticed the smell of alcohol as he approached the house.
According to the police report, Carlton was sitting on the front steps of his home, which is located about 30 feet from the road, and his knees were apart with his genitals exposed.
A female inside the Carlton home said she did not see anything wrong with what Carlton did and told police people should not be looking Carlton.
She continued, saying police should leave her and Carlton alone and concentrate more on keeping crack off the streets.
