A domestic dispute between a husband and wife ends with the couple's child accidentally shot. Nash County authorities say the shooting happened last weekend at the family home in Nashville.

Deputies say Bobby Drake didn't think the gun was loaded when he pointed the weapon at a wall and pulled the trigger. The bullet went through the wall hitting the boy in the throat.

The child is now recovering at home.

Neither parent was charged for the shooting because it was accidental. However, Bobby Drake was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, violation of domestic violence order and drug possession.
