Durham teen charged with attempted robbery

DURHAM Antonio Andrew Holman, 19, was charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping and assault by pointing a gun. He has been in the Orange County Jail since his arrest Saturday night. His charges include the armed robbery of a Domino's Pizza in Hillsborough. An employee of the Pizza Hut on N.C. 55 told officers he went outside the business shortly before midnight on July 25 and was approached by a man armed with a gun. The man forced the employee back into the business at gunpoint and attempted to get money from the safe and a register, but was unable to do so. Bond for Holman was set at $250,000 on the Hillsborough charges and $50,000 on the Durham charges.
