Water was restored to customer around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
An estimated 135 homes in the Braxton Village subdivision lost water service before dawn this morning after a line break in the intersection of Texanna Way and Holly Meadow Drive.
The point of breakage was pinpointed and fixed.
Notices of the break were hand-delivered to homes affected.
The reason of the 12-inch diameter line break has not been determined. The break was discovered between 4 and 4:30 a.m.
The lower intersection of Holly Meadow Drive and Avent Ferry Road remains closed to through traffic. Motorists should use the upper Holly Meadow Drive entrance to Braxton Village and follow the detour route - Evergreen View Drive to Avent Meadows Lane to Holly Thorn Trace.
