Teen found stabbed at Raleigh home

RALEIGH Shortly after 5 a.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a stabbing call on Oxleymare Drive. Upon arrival, the officers located Christopher Rivera Jimenez, 18, who was transported to Wake Med, where he later died.

Later in the morning the suspect in the case, Mack Jossie Mojica, 18, turned himself in to Johnston County authorities and contact was made with Raleigh detectives, who then transported the suspect to Raleigh. An arrest warrant for murder has been obtained charging Mojica of Willow Springs.

Raleigh Police Department spokesman Jim Sughrue says Mojica and Jimenez were known to one another.

The investigation of the case is being directed by the department's Major Crimes Task Force and is continuing.
