Officals say three men were fishing when one of the men fell into the creek. The other two men walked up half a mile to their truck and drove to a phone to call for help. The call came in around 6 p.m. so police say it may have happened close to 5:30 since it took about a half hour to get to their truck and to a phone.
A Durham County Sheriff says none of them knew how to swim. Divers were called to the scene to search for the body.
