Chambers and a passenger were travelling on I-295 five miles east of Fayetteville, when Chambers lost control of her vehicle and overturned.
Chambers was not wearing her seat belt and both she and her passenger were ejected from the car.
The extent of the passenger's injuries is not known and a name has not been released.
The investigation into this single car accident is ongoing.
