Police say Bilal Jonquil Green had a .9 mm gun while at Athens High School Wednesday.
School officials say they received information Tuesday that Green was going to have a gun Wednesday. The school notified police, but officers were unable to find him on campus.
He was arrested off campus.
Green is being held in the Wake County Jail and is charged with one count of possession of a firearm on school property. He will make his first court appearance this afternoon.
It is not known if Green is a student at the high school.
