10,000 lose power in Fayetteville

Fayetteville public works say about 10,000 customers lost power in downtown and central parts of the city Monday morning.The outage began at 7:11 a.m. The problem was apparently a blown transformer.

Workers quickly began tackling the problem, and most areas reported having electricity again by 9 a.m.
