Three charged in Knightdale murder

KNIGHTDALE James Raymond Strazisar, 49, was found shot to death in the woods behind the Country Hearth Inn. It happened Sunday night on Massey Farm Road.

Now, detectives have charged 31-year-old Jason Randall Sledge and 51-year-old Charles Cameron Wheless with murder. A third man, 54-year-old Gregory Collins Wheless, is charged as an accessory after the fact.

Deputies have not given a motive for the alleged killing. They say the investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
