Search continues for missing mother

GRANVILLE COUNTY, N.C. Morris, 28, was last seen September 3 --the same day her home was set on fire. Authorities are calling the fire that destroyed the home an arson.

Morris' car was later found abandoned about a mile away. Her cellular phone, keys and purse were also found.

Search coordinator Al Mignacci says as time goes by the volunteer base has diminished.

They are concerned that spring will soon be here and the vegetation will return making it harder to search effectively.

Mignacci says they need volunteer searchers for Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Anyone interested in assisting should report to the command center at 2816 Old Weaver Trail off Hwy 50 in Creedmoor.

To contact the Kelly Currin Morris Command Center call (919) 812-2310 or e-mail helpfindkelly@gmail.com

If you have any information on the where abouts of Kelly, please contact the Granville County Sheriff's Department at (919) 693-3213 or the Granville County Crime Stoppers at (919) 693-3100.

Morris' family have held several vigils since her disappearance in an effort to get the word out that Morris is still missing.

Her husband, Scott Morris, has been named a person of interest by police.
