Mother and daughter arrested

MOORE COUNTY Breanna Michelle Black, 19, and Ruben Serrano, 18, were arrested in the parking lot of a Kangaroo convenient store in Vass when officers said they were found with 125 doses of the prescription painkiller Lortab and $630 in cash.

Lortab is a brand name for the drug Hydrocodone. Detectives said the pills had a street value of approximately $1,000.

Black's mother, 49-year-old Anna Michelle Rosales of Sanford, was arrested the following day.

All three are charged with felony trafficking in opium, felony conspiracy to traffic in opium, and felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance.

The three were booked into the Moore County jail on bonds ranging from 25 to 100 thousand dollars. Rosales had bonded out as of Thursday morning.
