Man throws rock, demands money

DURHAM The incident happened on Hope Valley Road at a Bank of America on Feb. 9. Police say the woman was doing a transaction at the ATM around 6:20 a.m. when a man ran up behind her vehicle, threw a large rock through the back window of her car and demanded money.

The woman ran from the car and did not give the man any money.

The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s with a large build. He was wearing a dark jacket, a black hoodie and a white scarf covering the lower part of his face.
