Authorities say the victim was 49-year-old Lacy Arnold Parker. He was struck and transported to Duke Hospital by Durham County EMS.
Parker died shortly after arriving due to injuries sustained in the accident.

DURHAM The accident occurred at 9:40 p.m. in the 800 block of S. Alston Avenue.
