Chief justice to visit NCCU law school

DURHAM He will preside over a moot court competition at North Carolina Central University's law school. The event is scheduled for April 14 and is closed to the public and media.

Roberts will be on a panel with 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Allyson Duncan, a former NC Central law professor, and former North Carolina Chief Justice Henry Frye.

Roberts will be the first chief justice to visit the 70-year-old law school. He is scheduled to eat with law students and conduct a swearing-in ceremony for NCCU law alumni to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
