Police identify body found in Rolesville

Police have identified the body of man that was discovered Tuesday in Rolesville.Ismael Merales-Castro, 30, was originally from Tuxtepec, Oaxaco, Mexico. He lived in Smithfield and had been in the U.S. since 2004.

Police notified Merales-Castro's family, who live in the Raleigh and Smithfield areas. His body was discovered in the Drayton Reserve subdivision located off of Forestville Road.

Police say they are looking for the victim's SUV, a 2004, dark grey or charcoal Chevrolet Trailblazer with NC license plate XXN-8404.
