Severe Weather Radio

The radios sound an alarm and provide life-saving information from the National Weather Service and the Department of Homeland Security by warning you of tornadoes, floods, hurricanes and other local emergencies.

For information and instructions on how to set one up watch this video.

After you get your weather radio, you will need to set it up to get updates in your area.

The newer weather radio receivers require special codes and a frequency so the receiver will send an alert when there is severe weather in your area.
