Basketball prospect charged

RALEIGH Raleigh police say the 18-year-old Word of God Christian Academy player was seen coming out of an unoccupied home on Laurel Glen Drive April 27.

Two other teens are also charged in the incident. Police said there was no sign of forced entry at the home and nothing appeared to be missing.

Wall was given a citation charging him with misdemeanor breaking and entering and was not arrested.

"Mr. Wall was not arrested, simply given a citation. He is fully cooperating with the DA's office to resolve this matter as soon as possible," said his attorney Anna E. Smith.

Wall, at 6'-4" and 185 lbs, was a top playmaker for Word of God. Recruiting websites list him as the number 1 ranked player in the country and said he has yet to commit to a school for next year.
