Authorities have charged 22-year old Zachary Lee Oaks with McCollough's murder. Oaks is currently being held without bond.
Police are not releasing any other information about the circumstances surrounding the investigation at this time.
Arrest made in murder investigation
FAYETTEVILLE On April 14 shortly after midnight, police found 34-year-old Jimmy Ali McCollough unconscious and unresponsive at the edge of the roadway on Joseph Street in Bonne Doone.
