Tractor company moving jobs to Tarboro

SPRINGDALE, Ark. Montana Tractors, which is based in Springdale, acquired Farmtrac North America's plant in Tarboro last December. The company said administrative, marketing and sales staff will stay in Arkansas.

Montana tractors said the Tarboro plant is closer to port and is better position to provide support to dealers. The company will move all of its production, parts, service and logistics to Tarboro.

The exact number of jobs that will become available, if any, is unknown.
