Health Care staffer confirmed with Swine Flu

ORANGE COUNTY Officials say that person is only mildly sick and in self-isolation at home. But he or she may have exposed up to 12 pediatric patients with the virus.

UNC Health Care say they have contacted everyone who was potentially exposed to let them know about it and to offer their assistance.

"We are also advising exposed persons in accordance with the current recommendations from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and are making ourselves available to them as needed," UNC Medical Center News Office spokesperson Stephanie Crayton said.

The people at risk visited the university pediatrics at Highgate Clinic in Durham.

Currently there are seven cases in Craven County, two cases in Onslow County, two cases in Carteret County, one in Rutherford County and one in Orange County.
