Fetzer says, "just because I'm 54 and single, does not mean I have to put up with vicious rumors that I'm gay."
He says he can't sue Wright himself, so he's suing WWAY TV and WLTT radio for libel or slander.
Fetzer is currently in the running to head the state GOP party.
