Police seek help in death investigation

The Raleigh Police Department has new clues, but still needs help from the public solving suspicious death case.They want to know more about the death of 60-year-old Patsy Eason Barefoot. Her body was found in her apartment on Saturday, June 27.

Police believe a white male drove her vehicle (silver 2002 Ford Focus) from her apartment on Wake Forest Road around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26 to southern Florida.

Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who might be able to provide information about the unidentified man.

He could be someone who left the area around the time of Barefoot's death and remains away, or he could have returned. Also, he may have said he was going to south Florida.

Police have not determined Barefoot's cause of death.
