Homicide Detectives issued warrants for Johnson Wednesday on charges of involuntary manslaughter for the death of Ya-Ya Food Mart owner Waheed Abdo Abdulla. Abdulla, 30, died from a gunshot wound from a stray bullet on June 27.
Authorities said 20-year-old Demetrius Deshawn Johnson was also shot and killed that night. He was found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of Ya-Ya Food Mart on Murchison Road and later died at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.
Police are searching for 27-year-old Michael McLaurin in connection with Demetrius Johnson's murder.
Authorities say surveillance photographs show a 2009 Ford Focus, silver or gray in color at the store around the time of the shootings.
Shane Johnson is currently wanted on additional warrants for crimes not related to the shooting.
