He was being held on a $3 million dollar bond after a hearing Thursday afternoon.
It's not the first time Eichacker has faced similar accusations. He was charged last year with the statutory rape of a 15-year-old girl and was sentenced to two years probation.
Eichacker's wife told Eyewitness News in an exclusive interview that he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of indecent liberties.
"The charge that he had before, the girl lied to him about her age. She told him he was 22. After everything happened, her father told him she was 15," said Samantha Eichacker.
Eyewitness News contacted the victim who told us Eichacker knew her age.
Because of that conviction, Eichacker's a registered sex offender, but the terms of his probation allowed him to stay in his Wendell home with his wife and two daughters.
Earlier this year, social services removed the kids from the home when the couple was accused of neglect. A month later, a 4-year-old girl told authorities that Eichacker raped and assaulted her between February and May.
"At the times I guess he was supposed to have done it, he was not around them alone at all. And they were trying to say that I sat there and watched him do it, which is false," said Samantha Eichacker.
Eichacker's wife says her husband is a good father.
"Anyone you ask who knows my husband will tell you the same thing, he's innocent and I'm going to fight this," she said.
Eichacker could face up to life in prison if convicted.
