Authorities warn of counterfeit money

HALIFAX COUNTY Authorities are warning businesses to be on the lookout for the fake money.

Investigators identified three different serial of numbers on $20 bills and a separate serial number on a $10 bill.

Anyone who is aware of the bills should not accept them and call Halifax County Crimestoppers at (252)-583-4444 or call the Halifax County Sheriff's Office and (252) 583-1991.
