Man injured in Durham shooting

DURHAM The shooting happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Dearborn Drive.

When officers arrived at the home, they found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The man, whose name is not being released at this time, was transported to Duke Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

Police said during the shooting, a young man suffered a minor injury on his forehead when he fell. He was treated and released from Duke Hospital.
