Dozens of families at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base are breathing a sigh of relief after welcoming troops home from the War on Terror.Airmen from the 336th Fighter Squadron returned home safely overnight. They had spent several months in Afghanistan.
"I think it is really nice that there is this much support for the guys coming back from Afghanistan because not everybody has family showing up, so just having people from the different units coming out here showing their support for us coming back it means a lot," Tech. Sergeant Binion told Eyewitness News.
Another group of airmen is expected back Wednesday.
