Durham police are trying to identify a man they say allegedly grabbed a woman from behind last week. It happened in the 300 block of West Main Street on September 22. The victim told police she was entering a business around 9:15 a.m. when a man she did not know, grabbed her and then ran away.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, 5'9" to 5'11" tall and 165-180 pounds. He had short facial hair or stubble and was wearing a black doo-rag, a green, plaid long sleeve flannel shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Rogers at 560-4935, ext. 29416.
