The crash happened around 1 a.m. on Wake Forest Road at Old Wake Forest Road. The car drove up a pole and stopped, leaving the vehicle pointing straight up.
Police said the driver actually hit two poles. When police arrived at the scene, there was no sign of the driver. They are still looking for him.
It is not known if any other vehicles were involved, but no injuries were reported.
